So I have stuffed and performed a factory reset on a SPA2102-R which has reset it to it's Sunrocket configuration. I know there are a few methods on the internet for unlocking the device after this has happened, but I would prefer not to risk bricking the device so if anyone has any experience in this area I would be very grateful for your help!

Google found this:

To enable admin access:
1. Dial * * * *
2. Enter 723646# when asked for option
3. Enter 78778839# when asked for password
4. Enter 1# when asked for value
5. Enter 1 to save the config

To know the exact URL link of your gizmo:
1. Dial * * * *
2. Enter 110# when asked for option
3. Note down the URL link
(NOTE: In general it starts with 192.168 but next two figures can be different for lot gizmos)

Now access that link: http://192.168.XXX.XXX/admin/voice/advanced

If you can not access, means you might want to enable access from WAN side too:
1. Dial * * * *
2. Enter 7932# when asked for option
3. Enter 78778839# when asked for password
4. Enter 1# when asked for value
5. Enter 1 to save the config

Now again access the link http://192.168.XXX.XXX/admin/voice/advanced

When asked for login/password try this:
User: admin
Password:7UprUtew

Then VOICE > PROVISIONING > PROVISION ENABLE to "off" -> save

Hi Glazza,

Thanks for that. Unfortunately I have already tried this method, and the password given was invalid. There are a few other methods suggested which can potentially brick the device, so I was hoping (finger crossed) that there would be someone on here who had performed the unlocking procedure before and knew what methods actually worked.

If I find anything else (or manage to get it working) i'll make sure to post it here so anyone else in this situation can fix it themselves.

Cheers.

Can you try doing a factory reset of the device and then connect to the web interface without actually being connected to the internet? If the factory configuration simply has the provisioning field set you may be able to log in and disable this.

If you factory reset the device and then connect it to your network with an internet connection the device can automatically download the provisioning file which will lock you out.

Failing that you might be able to flash the firmware with the stock standard Linksys firmware which could also resolve the issue.
