Call a prepaid card local number, pay your $1.47c and dial away for the 6c or so calls to China/Aus/UK etc.

You can also use this with TalkZone Zero for some lovely cheap overseas calls and national calls to ANY numbers too!!!!!!
It would cost me 5c from Compass card to ANY landline and most overseas networks instead of 40c/49c! Shame vodafone's service is so shocking i'll never own a GSM on-account again.

I wonder if it also detects dialling data calls to certain numbers, I'd like to do some CSD data WAP surfing and ringtone downloading spree coz it'd be plenty fast enough for that.

Sounds like a force to be reckoned with. I think I will hold onto my On Account account for a while till I can find something else (most likely Telecom) which offers something similar to MM On account.

In regard to CSD calls - when I used CSD just for kicks on my MM account, it appeared to take the included minutes out of my calling bundle. Will have to try more when I get back to NZ though.

CSD data should be charged at the CSD if you are on a plan and normal airtime rates if you're on prepay.

Only 3 hours 20 mins for Vodafone to ring me back and explain my overcharging, who's putting money on a) whether they call before 5pm b) they have a plausable explatation?
