Here on this article.

Anyway, back when vodafone had the misleading ads around the place about calling people from some low price per min that was unobtainable because of rounding etc they were quite happy to submit back to the asa that there was nothing misleading going on and all was fine. which they managed to get a majorty agreement with at the asa.

Bit too faced of vodafone to complain in the article about virtually the same thing which they defended when they did it themselves 4 years earlier with you choose addons. is the complaint I made that was not upheald. What difference is there in the current 2 degrees promo that there was not in the vodafone one that vodafone are apparantly happy with how it was worded and operated?

Vodafone should stop whining about stuff like this. Their Talk add-on terms and conditions currently don't tell people whether or not rounding applies to calls (which it does).

And even their supa prepaid calling plan - its not clearly advertised either. You have to dig up the terms and conditions to find out how they charge.

What annoys me is how this makes the news.

From the 2degrees PR in the first paragraph "dropped the cost of calls between networks by nearly a third, from 44 cents to 30 cents per minute with the launch of its Everyone100 Pack."

Then on the second paragraph they go on to say "an effective rate of just 30c per minute"

It's like Vodafone's PR people cant read, what it actually does is highlight that they do it as well!

And maybe we should go on about their ads that do/used to state
"I pay Vodafone $10 and get $360 million dollars worth of value"
