I bought a phone with sim connection pack, but I don't need the simpack as I am on contract.

So I sold it on TM, and the buyer has asked a strange request and says I must do this before sending it. Strange in terms of its news to me and something I have not heard of before...

Its a prepay sim, and for some reason he rung Vodafone, and Vodafone told him I need to ring them (Vodafone) and get the number released and put under his name. On a prepay sim?

Whats that all about?

It would probably be the case that you registered your details against the number (you get an extra $10 for doing so on the vodafone/Telecom website.

And he has tryed to get an addon or change the prepay plan with that number and as it is not registered to him it he is not able to do it.

Can I find out if the number has already been registered without registering?

It seems I must register first before survey looking at the flow chart.
