Hi there, would anyone have any ideas on what maybe cauing my following issue?
for the last 2 weeks, I have been getting intermittent physical line
down message on my router and usually lasts about 20-40 minutes.

I have removed all other telecommunication devices and filters and have
had the router plugged in directly to the main phone line, i have also
tried another router. Restarted the router multiple times. My phone
still works. It just starts working again all by itself.

However this time it has been down since midnight until now

And then back down again 13:20 pm

I finally got a CSR checking Trace Routes and disconnects. He told me 4pm on Friday that thy would put in place 24 hour line monitor and I was to ring back 4pm Saturday. Which I did. Just got off the phone to Residential support who took 20 minutes to find my case number and asked if i had replaced the ethernet cable from my PC to my router!!! I have already stated I can ping the router, get the to the routers web interface, and the router says it has a physical line error!!!!! ( I have 3 servers and about 6 workstations all of a 24-port switch which the router is plugged nto)
She spoke to her supervisor for 15 minutes while I was on hold who would "run some tests". The results were there was no issues they could see my router!!!!!! interestingly my friends I had rung couldn't!!!!

I cant wait to see the traceroute I have continously running from my office to home!

She guaranteed to ring me back!! SHE DID!!! wow. the supervisor had gone home, so she got another supervisor to ring me back. Still waiting an our later, and my router has just reconnected.

My neighbour has just told me his router fails to sync all the time, different isp!!!

I wonder how long it will stay up this time!!!
