chiefie: Whats the operating environment you guys in? Our t-boxes from first day have been doing well. Seem very weird and strange that you all experiencing less than happy usages.

Seem very weird and strange that you all experiencing less than happy usages.You are either lucky to have struck a good unit or you work for Telestra?. Incidently, I have been involved with electronics for over 50 years so I know not to overheat equipment.

Both are on the whole time without ever going into standby mode - them both generate sufficient heat at best.

RobertT: Anyone else notice a number of series links set to record 'fell-off' on the first January? I had severall recordings that record daily/weekly that were gone on the first and had to be replaced.
chiefie: Tiny issues like crashes but not maybe once in few months.I suggest it might be time to buy a Lotto ticket!!

I always use the standby mode when not in use, but as from to-day I'll leave the unit on and see how things go.
