I am an angry client against vodafone now. I already called the technical support 4 times. And a fault was launched last thursday. And now one week passed and the problem still exisits and no one calls me after that. Seems like vodafone doesn't care its constomers at all. I will call vodafone today to give them a final warning. If they could not solve the problem, I will report the issue to ministry of consumer affairs and NZ herald. I hope others with the same issues could do the same

Anyone see that telecom got into the papers yesterday for a similar issue? - http://www.nzherald.co.nz/connect/news/article.cfm?c_id=1501833&objectid=10731116 - I agree with it that there needs to be some auditing of the accuracy of these measurement methods that they use. Also why is it always vodafone that has problems with measurement too?

I agree.  I will record my usage following this guide http://www.cueclub.net.nz/page.php?37 as suggested by NZ herald.

Thinking about it, perhaps their inability to measure it is why vodafone refuse to sell plans that don't become useless at a set amount used.

Quite hard to make any complaints about the charging by volume when they don't actually charge you by it.

Good news finally. Vodafone did a line investigation for me and found out my account has been stolen by someone else and credited by the wrong usage for me (8GB vs 30GB). Highly recommended if you guys experiencing similar situation to phone the technical support to do the investigation and the most important thing is to change the password (not the wireless password but the modem ADSL password word).

Hope that helps!
