Haha yes I can understand everyone laughing at the question and I realised guys from VF use this forum. I just found it to be an interesting concept and was interested to see some of the replies I would get. I wasn't expecting this to be a feasible idea as I was suspecting it'd be slow and unreliable at best.

Good to see some people like muppet still giving some constructive replies though ;P

You were? How come I never caught you on CH6/Klondyke?

I was into UHF and repeaters in Australia. Built my own yagis for certain repeaters and a huge mast!
I got my amateur licence in Oz when you still had to know morse! (not that I ever used it, everyone on there was retired!)
