Low Speed plan that is one of the worst speed test results I've seen. How much do you pay for that and next is why??? I'm sure you could basic broadband giving a lot faster speeds for a similar amount.

The idea of having Fibre may be great but seriously why would anyone pay for something that some companys don't even throttle you down to when you reach your data cap???

Lastly if your so unhappy with what your getting go elsewhere or is that the problem no one else is available where you are as if so that's not WXC's problem nobody forces you to use their product you are the customer and there is certainly better options out there for what your speed tests are showing.

Plus like it's been mentioned if they're not in control of the pricing again how can this be WXC's fault.

No he is on the Voice Only Plan.... which is just Voice only.

The point is that when the pilot is over we will know what the commercial options from telecom will be , right now under the pilot we do not !!!..so the price is just the initial one we have to offer when it this comes off we can then price accordingly and the we will be offering better plans .... My speed is from my desk i.e work connection it's not my home connection !!

Ah... Phone only connection. That explains it then.

freitasm: And those speed tests are done over ethernet, not WiFi?

Yes, it's correct. A router can support WiFi, but it's disabled by default setting and I don't see any reason to enable it with such slow connection.

As explained above though, if the plan is a voice only plan, then the bandwidth available would be that service only... I guess that explains it.

You have a slow connection because you are on the Voice only plan.... As you say you have a brand new house with a large mortgage and this is the only plan you can afford.

No, it's not only phone. I signed application form for phone and "basic" Internet. You can  find application form on Xnet web-site:

not only phone
I have ticked VLSI (now I understand it's "very low speed Internet") and I have it.

I guess that is an issue to take up with the developers / real estate agents.

Like I remember, it was just general information about Fusion:

fusion

I pay $45 for phone and about  $12 for Internet every month. I can't download more with my current speed. I can pay more for high speed Internet, but it should be competitive price.

Only problem that I love this house :)

I'm optimist and I believe that one day fibre Internet will be affordable as ADSL!
