Give them a ring to find out for sure - it may be far simpler than you thought...

Dear WxC, you have until the end of this month to come up with new revised and competitive pricing otherwise I am leaving [for SNAP]. I have been very patient since I was advised new plans would be forthcoming late last year. I appreciate everyone is on holiday in Jan so I thought I'd give you Feb too.

BTW I just called your sales people who confirmed that new pricing will be forthcoming but have no dates or timeframes. The rep even asked me if I wanted to cancel my account !

Too late Xnet, I already left 2 weeks ago.
Got sick of waiting, and paying up to $150 per month (due to $1.28/GB), when now I am only paying $92 for 100GB naked BB (HD)

sbiddle:

As for existing greenfields fibre areas, these networks will all untimately be part of the UFB footprint - but there are currently no retail UFB offerings available.

UFB retail offerings announced.

From the page

Ubergroup (Whangerei):
  1. 50Mb/s (up/down), 150GB data, 1 phone line: $99
  2. 50Mb/s (up/down), 250GB data, 1 phone line: $199

Mmm, nice.

Option 1 is nice but stuffed if I would pay $100 for 100 gig at any time.

I just would WXC to come back in here and comment on when we're likely to see something or even better a hint at what it might be as we all waiting around before Xmas in hope of something then the ComCom put a spanner in the works but surely they must have a idea on when and or what they're likely to offer by now as their delays and silence do nothing other than cause frustration and attrition.

It's all fine to be patient but when is it considered too long. I think for a lot of people that timeframe has passed a long time ago and if what was said above is correct even their own staff are talking about account cancellations when asking about when we will see something.

WXC please come and give those faithful (soon to be few) a update.

On Saturday I received my monthly bill, in the news section it said new plans were coming in the next couple of weeks.

Please check again. It said next FEW weeks, not a couple. In reality it could be much more than 2 weeks based on fact that this thread is created in July.

Yes this morning when I express my disappointment to the sale rep at no dates for the new plans and that I would soon change to a more competitive ISP.  I was offered [kindly] if I wanted to have my account cancelled. I was not advised that they would be forthcoming in the next "few" weeks or anything like that as other posters have been indicated in their new invoices.

Which provider are you with? Sorry, I'm not sure what HD stands for...

Never heard of them, and interesting prices ... which include a static IP...

Thanks - they certainly have competitive pricing. I wonder if anyone can tell us how they're finding customer service so far?
