Hold ups due to this .... hence the reason we did not want to announce until released to save the type of comments being received from the likes of VGAMail ... so there will be no announcement until they are released sorry.

What's wrong with my comments? I just  commented a fact of objective reality. And everybody knows the reason why we still don't have new plans: money. Nothing personal.

vgamail: Even if you are correct, what good does it do to flog the horse constantly, it lowers morale and makes people like Maverick who don't MAKE these decisions but is on these forums to help where he can, feel bad.

Every one is frustrated, but I think it's taking it too far.

This is what is wrong with your comments:

vgamail: [...] Don't be so naive. [...] I repeat my prediction: no new plans in the near future.

Pointless repetition - just comes across as time-wasting trolling.

+1 networkn I agree wholeheartedly plus if earlier posts are to go by VGAmail made a choice to take part in a trial and opted to not pay extra for a data option package then had the nerve to make a whole lotta noise about his choice to not pay for his internet usage like nearly everyone else does.

VGAmail if I am thinking of someone else then I apologise however like Networkn has said why bother insulting those who are only here trying to help and keep us informed. You are entitled to your opinion and that's fine but I think you made your point some 15 - 20 pages ago.

Maverick we appreciate the work you do here and thanks for keeping us informed as best you can. We at times do let our frustrations get the better of us so sorry if it sounds like it's been directed at you. People need to remember that no matter where your living there is always other options and those who choose to not take them should state their piece and move on.

I am looking forward to the updates and announcements as anything that improves on what is already a great service is a bonus.

The posts earlier today indicates issues with the new web pages, so let's hold our breath/horses a little bit longer.

The old timers on here (and I'm starting to get there) knows Maverick, Cameronn, and the others (I remember Wendy, or was that only over the help desk?) do not have to post anything here and they do it simply to help guys on here. It is not part of their job description, and demanding their attention will just drive them away (or in hiding as has happened in the past).

Newer guys, please be gentle and phone the help desk if you need official support. GZ also tends to actually enforce the T&C (which usually makes it a great site).

No, I made a choice about house. I couldn't imagine that in 21 century in a center of Auckland I will not have a choice to select provider.

It's my dream: to be like everyone else. Why should I pay much higher price than everyone else?

Maverick we appreciate the work you do here and thanks for keeping us informed as best you can.

Maverick, please ignore my message.

Slightly OT but I am happy with Xnets VoIP pricing as I want two lines. Was with Telecom at about $150 a month with 10gig and the second line but with Xnet it is around $110. Was apprehensive about going VoIP but am well pleased with the move. Pay ($1.28) as you go is a saving for low usage but not for higher usage. Would be nice to get some relief in the new plans for higher use.

As has been mentioned on several occasions on Geekzone alone, you have about 5 different options available to you. They have been listed for you several times.

I've hidden a couple of posts that aren't beneficial at all to this discussion.

You know, even if the pages for the new plans aren't ready, I'm sure many people would be just fine with some simple plan summaries, perhaps posted to a forum? ;)

It is probably the case that the plans are not final until the plans go live. Any other approach can lead to all kinds of business problems, including unforgiving customers.

Plans are final ... some new back-end systems didn't quite handle what we needed.
