Phexx: I think that, although the title of the webpage suggests that Vodafone are solely talking about applications, people assume that free next to something means that it truly is free to use.
Admittedly, when reading the first post I think the same as Tim, the apps would have free data usage. I think that Vodafone NZ did not say anything false, but were not clear as to what was actually free. If they removed the free next to the app, it would make things much more clear.
you are absolutely right.
Furthermore, they really need to be clear that the free modem they give with broadband requires power which is not free.
Same goes for free mobile phones. They need to clearly spell out that the free phone does not include unlimited free data, minutes and txts, and does not also grant unlimited free power to recharge the battery.
