having problem with mobile broadband as well as voice/txt to my partner in Hamilton(im in Christchurch).. i definetly think its here (bealey avenue)..thing is..i can reach my partner by using my Telecom work mobile to call her vodafone..but not vodafone to vodafone.

anyone else having same issue?

what makes it anxious for me, is my partner had been trying to get me as she heard someone walking around and trying the door ..she rang police but could not raise me..i got a txt from her saying someone was prowling around...but we could not get each other..hopeing vodafone resolve this issue soon?

There were numerous significant network issues affecting numerous telcos and ISP's yesterday.

These things can happen, unfortunately. May be a good time for you and your partner to work out a plan 'B' for her, in case it happens again.

thats true....but tell me...what is your plan B?... partner rang the police as being first "plan A"..i guess plan B was to ring me?...unfortunately..that didnt work due to net work issues...the neighbours were helpful to...so yes...be interested in your "plan B"?

Landline?
They do suggest that voip / mobile lines are not the best for emergency situations.

Or get a Telecom prepaid phone and leave it around home?

We are in Greymouth and having problems .. cant access Net via black vodem stick at all. Anyone else?
Im using the landline broadband but son is getting frustrated with the laptop vodem being out again.
