I have an email address like myname @ and it forwards all messages to my phone by SMS. I seem to remember it cost 20 cents each time, but I wanted to double-check today. I rang Vodafone and was said it is 10$ per MB... but this does not seem correct... or is it?

Yes its 20 cents per notification and it does not forward the Email it just a notification

This can be turned off in Vodafone mail on the website

Ignore the $10 per meg thats the default rate for packet data if you don't choose a data plan

Thanks; that's what I thought. However I do receive the first lines of the email... not only a notification!

It's kinda like a forwarded email that formats to show sender and subject and whom it's from then it fits the last lines into the message.
