Hi just wondering does anyone know how to remove screen tattoo's aka operator logo's from nokia 5110? yeah I know it's a old phone but I keep it as a back up.

I have tired restoring factory settings and I have also tired a *# code that I have found off the internet no luck yet.

You need to send a new one to the handset, Vodafone can't disable it

I use to play around with these back in the late 90's (eeekkk showing my age)

You need a real early Nokia PC suite and I am sure you then can disable it

I wish they were available again actually, I'd like to have a Vodafone operator logo on my cellphone's display.

I had this problem years ago, there was a south african based website (MTN) where you could send free SMS from and also those operator logos, there was one they had which acted like a "reset" and put it back to default.

A quick look at google suggests trying *#67705646#
