So you don't have any specific carrier you are wondering about?

The two carriers that have 4G today is Vodafone and Telecom.

Took me about 10 seconds to Google...

Vodafone already has 4G coverage in Dunedin (has for quite a while) but this is expanding as well, Expanding in many places around NZ,

Have you checked out the Vodafone NZ coverage map?

BTW: Wondering when the coverage in Napier will extend to CBD? Its nice to have it around where I live, but I am usually covered by my own Wi-fi here ;)

ALTRON: this map?

http://gis.geek.nz/infrastructure.html

That site loads like a slug, but nice map. Only problem is that it does not seem updated. Its been a while since Vodafone opened their 4G in my neighbourhood, and that transmitter is not shown on the map (well it is, but not as a 4G transmitter, if my assumptions are correct about which one it is).

I've switched to Vodafone 4G while waiting for Telecom to bring 4G to Hamilton. Loving it and it's awesome especially when uploading pics at events etc. Very quick. I've even got full signal 4G in my hood of Nawton Hamilton haha. That was switched on maybe about 3 weeks ago.

You will find 3G even quite quick around the tron now a ton of work of upgrading 2G / adding 3G 900Mhz dual carrier 43Mbps / 4G to sites

4G should be online very soon way down the bottom of the South Island

I think that site got updated the other day, noticed a new 2degrees site showing north of the haywoods in the Wellington Region (indicated by the green paddle)

Would be good to know future coverage plans, even if only for the next year.

Any likelihood of Vodafone coverage on the Hibiscus Coast in the near future?
About 5 times the population of the Warkworth + Omaha holiday zone already covered
