Go on @JohnR try the online chat and post back their response :)

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster and even more now as they are upgrading their rural Conklins. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend $195 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?
I install - Naked DSL, DSL Master Splitters, VoIP, data cabling and general computer support for home and small business.
Rural Broadband RBI installer for Ultimate Broadband and Full Flavour

In my home office, I had very weak Vodafone signal strength, so I got a booster unit from Vodafone.  It had a small antennae on a suction cap that I stuck to my window, an lead that went to the booster. It had a PAD that I had to place my cellphone on and the signal went from 1 bar to 5.  You had to leave the cellphone on this little pad and connect to it via a Bluetooth headset/earpiece to pick up calls.   Worked well.

I no longer require this booster unit as I am no longer in business.  Happy to sell for a small fee just to get it off my hands and to someone who may use it.   PM me.

They can't even spell "Telecom" correctly (not that the company is even called that anymore!)

Hi

Another similar product is advertised on line today in

https://www.mobilesignalboosters.co.nz/product/mobile-booster-boosted-vodafone/

An Electrical Forum had discussed about this (in the following link)

I want to check out the opinion of the GZ forum members on  this.

Cheers

I haven't heard of Vodafone approving any devices recently so I'd wager that it too is illegal. The site itself seems fairly dodgy when it says that the product was featured on several popular sites (including using their trademarked logos) but doesn't link to any articles.

Unless it's a cell-fi for Spark and 2Degrees or a suresignal for Vodafone, it's illegal. The cellular operators track you down and RSM will hand out a fine. As before, use the avenues sbiddle and others have mentioned.

Yep, those arent legal sorry.

@JohnR and @SaltyNZ will likely be more than happy to pop in here and give their official no warning.

That site has been around for awhile, if you ask me, Service providers need to be fighting to take down those sites.

I personally have had VERY heated arguments about legalities since the site itself states throughout it that they are legal and supported :/
