My son's primary school is out of cell phone coverage. I am wondering if it is possible to email texts to phones for the announcements of school closure. This is a school which closes at times due to flooding on the main road.

Vodafone say they are retiring the service and it is no longer available,

I use Pushover app, send / forward an email to your unique address and the app gets it.

So far, very fast and hasn't missed.
