Yeah - but post was dead and could not add...

I had rung the 0800 number and got a weird response saying it was a;; "frozen" as far as service goes but the company is still trading...

Is it for sale? If so how much?

"Trading"? I just visited their site to check how things are going, and the registration page now returns a 404. Certainly "trading" means supplying goods and services, but without clients?

A few weeks ago, I contacted Reach to chase a very small debt that they owe to the company that I work for. I contacted them through their 0800 number and was later referred to their accountant. The debt got paid in the end, and neither of the people who I spoke to said anything about the business being wound up, but I got the impression that they're no longer expecting contact from existing or prospective customers.

I spoke to Craig Foss, the director and owner of Reach, and Marvin Yee of Cybercom, the company that has take over the managemet of the ISP. Computerworld story here.

REACH used to operate at AUT University, it was never very good, really slow and extremely expensive. They shud down last year and no longer operate there.
