I have got a customers site with 2 pots lines running into PBX

Line 1 doesn't get CID but Line 2 does - same PBX config for both lines.
The only differnece between the 2 lines is line 1 has hardwired ADSL Filter.

Bellow is my system configuration any suggestions on this because it has got my stumped

Thanks

This might sound like a stupid question, but have you tried plugging a CID enabled handset in on line 1 and see if it displays CID?

And another stupid question... they definitely have caller ID as a facility on their line?.. the amount of times that catches me out lol.

Try adding  "callerid=asreceived" without quotes under channel section. Not sure it will fix it but give a try.

I have tried every different setting that i can think off including the above.

The line does have callerid tested using there original analog phone.

Hello David,

Is it possible for you to paste asterisk call logs of the call which is not presenting caller ID.

It's not the first time I've seen this. Filters do die, and CallerID is merely using FSK 1200Hz / 2200Hz for the tones so a low pass filter on it's last legs can impact on PSTN performance.

Master filter older style with 2 pairs in/out. I have seen lots of filters but never seen one like this but put in the trash so never a problem again.
