Looking at replacing the analogue cordless phones at my parents to SIP ones.

What's a good handset that's not too expensive, but supports multiple SIP registrations? (am wanting to do distinctive ring on their home and business VoIP lines)

My Panasonic one (like yours Nate) does, but the implementation is poor - and they are way over priced!

My Siemens IP Gigaset is much better.

You can, for example, suffix numbers with #[line number] so you can set speed dials to go out via specific trunks.

Not sure about distinctive ring, but pretty sure it's possible.

theEd: Yealink W52P :)

Yup, these will do the trick. Sound quality is not high end, especially if you are wanting HD-Voice, but acceptable and a good volume level. Still at least as clear as PSTN though on G711.

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster and even more now as they are upgrading their rural Conklins. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend $195 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?

The Yealink W52P is pretty good, we replaced our snom m9 with it and much prefer it. Sound quality is decent, better than the Gigaset units in my opinion.
