Started having a play with a GXP2100 last night.

Got it sort of working but a few little issues.

It seems to drop registration some times and my dial plan is just wrong.

I've set up STUN and ticked every box that I can think of to make it stay connected, but just shooting in the dark a little.

It doesn't dial the number right away, which suggests I should have a different dial plan.

Has anyone set one of these up in .nz who would care to share some screen shots of the config that works?

Have you tried bringing the registration time down? Somewhere around 180 perhaps?

Then have a look for the Keep-Alive settings. Have it send a keep-alive every 60 seconds and that should be ample to keep the firewall open. Shouldn't really need to use STUN.

What are you running for a firewall/router?

Haven't used Grandstream myself but it sounds like a general issue you are having.

I use a GXP2000 with multiple 2talk lines, not sure of the differences with the 2000 vs 2100 model, but can provide a screenshot if you want?

Thanks Snowflake. That UI is quite different to the one on the 2100. I might do some screen prints when I've got it going properly to share for others too.
