As a follow on from:

 purchased the Yealink phone. I have also created a 2Talk account, which is enabled.

Everything is plugged in, phone charged, etc.

QOS upload and download has been enabled on router (although I am not 100% sure what the correct settings are, I set to VOIP)

2talk tells me that there is no phone connected. The router tells me there is.

When I open status on handset, then click on Line, it says No Matched Line. Is this the issue? If so, how do I match a line?

Or is there something else?

Looking to get this sorted before the copper line number is ported to 2talk please..

You clearly haven't configured the phone correctly or haven't configured your router correctly for VoIP. Answering your question really isn't possible with such limited information but it's safe to say the problem is unlikely to be 2talk.

In the Yealink web config have you set the line you have the account setup on to the handset?
You can also give the handset a display name in there.

Hi UrbanMyth

The W52 devices generally work very well with 2talk.

First up, make sure that anything to do with SIP support in your router is disabled (eg SIP application level gateway for NAT).

Secondly please post the settings you have changed from a factory setup in the W52.

I know it will be a local issue.... I am not blaming 2talk. What info do you require please so I can get this sorted

I am connecting to a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND (v2) router running Gargoyle firmware upgrade. This is connected to a DrayTek Vigor DV130 ADSL/VDSL Modem using PPoE.

I have configured the phone to use DHCP, and it picks up the local network fine. The router has assigned it an ip address. I can also see the connection on the router web config.

I have enabled QOS on the router for both upload and download. I have also selected "VOIP" on both screens. Other than that, I have changed nothing in these screens. If required, I can screenshot later when I get home.

Is there anything else on the phone that I should be configuring? The user manual does contain basic limited info

2talk can autoprovision these Yealinks.

All sorted :D

Got lost on some of the terms you guys were using, but found a link which showed how to set up to 2talk with Yealink phone.

Basically the base had not been configured... everything else was fine

Thank you for your help and time :)
