I suspect the answer is a big NO, but....

Have ordered UFB - it will be naked fibre
Would like to keep the old landline number for a while - so figured 2talk will be ok for that.
Dont have a router that has POST/VOIP ports built in - so figured I need an ATA.

But I see the Chorus ONT has POTS ports on it - Vodafone and Spark can use/activate them - so they must push something out to those ports somehow? Slingshot/Orcon supply a router with POTS/VOIP ports and their customers have to use that.

So the question is - is it possible to have the chorus ONT POTS ports working with 2talk?

Or a Yealink cordless IP phone.

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend from $150 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?

Nope. There is no way for you to configure it, and even if you could configure the settings it has no layer 3 internet connectivity and it'll only connect back on it's own VLAN to your ISP.

Jase2985: vodafone use them?

I might well be wrong.

Thanks for the other replies. Thought that "no" would be the answer. But if you don't ask, then you don't know eh?

On a related note I have a spare SPA112 hanging around. Flick me a message if you want to grab it off me.
