I'm looking for recommendations from folks for a VoIP intercom. The intercom will be installed on an outdoors security gate, and as such must be tamper/dust/water proof. Ideally it will connect to a SIP phone or IP speaker in some nearby indoors office.

The following product looks ideal (basic, but would do the job just fine) but is presently out of stock:

Any suggestions similar to this model or advice otherwise would be great.

There are some good ones on here. If you don't have an account, I can source these if required for you.

My recommendations are anything from 2n (best) or Cyberdata (good but cheaper).

Another vote for 2N, extra price is worth it

Currently got the Helios IP Force, no issues and a nice API you can interface with it (if you want).

I've used the Algo SIP doorphone products a fair bit in hotel/motel situations. Do they what they say on the tin and seem to be good stable products.

Just so I understand properly, do you just want a "buzzer" with two-way speech capabilities at the gate end? If so, the Algo doorphone is all you need...

That way the actual control unit is just installed where suitable to connect to your network, and then you just wire the speaker/button unit out to where you need to go. You only need two wires to make speech work, the other couple are for relay controls only if required. The base can then be set to just dial a preset number and you can just DTMF to control the gate relays if required.
