I used a Linksys-based router/gateway on Callcentric and I'd like to know if this dial plan is valid, and what I can do to improve it.

The dial plan will be broken up into three lines for easy readability:

(*xx.|*xxx|*75xx|0|00|<800:**275*1800>[2-9]xxxxxxS0|<747:**275*7471747>xxxxxxxS0|
<222:**275*74712220000000S0>|<:1>[2-9]xxxxxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.|011[2-9]x.|**275*x.|
<311:16135802400S0>|<411:**275*18004664411S0>|<911:16132306211S0>|900xxxxxxx!)

(The "xxxxxxxxxxxx." part is probably redundant)

A partial explanation: I took the default dial plan that my provider suggests and added some stuff to it, ie. 911 doesn't work so I had to find the emergency call center for my area.

I would like the 800 rule to work also for 800/866/877/888 but I don't know how to do that. Can I make one rule to cover them all or seperate rules for each?

I'm not a pro at writing dial plans, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Try:
(1xx|[2-9]xxxxxx|0[34679]xxxxxxx|0800xxxxxx|00[1-9]x.|0[1258]x.|0900xxxxxx)

My VoIP is not going to work that way because it (and I) is North American, so we don't use zeroes before numbers (we use ones but my dial plan chops them off because I'd rather use 10-digits).

Thank you for trying though.

OK, that was a NZ plan, as this is largely an NZ based forum. I'm not familiar with the NA plans.

Wow...

That's some dial-plan you've got there! :-).

What model of Linksys is it?  We've got some 'canned' ones at work for the NA market..
