I'm considering ditching my landline and setting up voip on xnet.  My dilemma is what hardware to get?
Currently I'm with telstra.  I have the cable modem, connected to an Engenius ESR-1220 wireless router.

My plan would be to get the linksys PAP2T adapter, then I can plug my cordless phone into it.  Will I be able to use a wi-fi capable cellphone to connect to the Xnet service through the PAP2T adapter, or do I need to buy a wireless router that has SIP built in?  Xnet suggests the WRP400.

Xnet will only allow certified hardware to connect (so your cellphone won't be covered) or Asterisk.  If you want to use your cellphone, you would need to setup an Asterisk box and connect to that.

Using a PAP2T with a cordless phone is also a good solution for cheap portability (vs a cordless VoIP phone)
