I work on a enterprise that has a SIP T20-P, in order for me to configure it and test my AsteriskNow I need to proceed with some customization on the phone itself, though I found a problem.

Our Internet Service Provider is also the provider of the phones and has managed to remotely make the upgrades and the username/password is not admin/admin. I tested some other possible passwords but no use.

I need to manage the phone on it's own webpage, but since I can't enter I thought about upgrading the firmware and would be clean of the ISP configurations, but what I discovered so far is that I need to log into the webpage of the phone and upgrade it through there.

In order to avoid some answers:

I already reseted to the factory - Firmware has been changed by the ISP so... it runs with their username and password.

I already gave them a call in order to give me the username and password, I am paying a equipment that it seems that is still not mine... no use through there too... they did not gave me information that I required.

In order to avoid router management to the phone, I connected the phone to my computer and set his IP manually... I connected but password was requested and no use, it was not admin/admin, even with reset to factory.

All help on this matter is welcome.
You have my thanks, best regards.

If you have paid a for the equipment (without subsidy) and the supplier has locked down the devices then I would recommended sending them back, getting a refund, and purchasing elsewhere.

The fact is I haven't directly payed for the equipment but yes for their voip services, that's why I wanted to go around this matter by upgrading the firmware again, but since I can only plug a network cable on the phone and wherever I searched it said it can only be upgraded through the webpage of the phone itself, which as I have said, it's blocked.

I found it more practical to buy a new equipment indeed, was really just willing to pass a message to my service provider "If I pay for something it's suposed to be mine to control" they only have to keep the service running.

Anyway, due to the lack of answers, I apologize for taking your time, if I found an answer I will post here.

Best regards...
