Hi there,

Does anyone know how much bandwidth Skype needs ?  I've a 3.5Mb/128K service and I can recieve audio and video with no issues and they can hear me great, but as soon as I start sending audio AND video the people at the other end say it turns pear shaped for them.

I'm pretty much certain it'se bcause internet connections in NZ are so screwed (128 upload?!?!)

So does anyone know how much bandwith I need to upload Skype video and audio ?  Doesn;t seem enough.

Mark

You should probably budget 30kbps +- 10kbps for the voice including udp ip and ppp ovehead which does not leave much for the video :)

Google it!
