Hi everyone,

I have just purchased a iTalk plan with Slingshot. I have my Trixbox all setup with extensions etc but now am just needing to setup an incoming trunk with the iTalk settings.

I have been reading other posts from people setting iTalk up with trixbox but am having some problems with mine.

Other people in their posts here have said (along with other settings):

"username=646843XXXX"

My question is, my username (which I assume is my account number) is: 70598XXX. The username other users have posted often start with 64, the other problem is that my account number is two digits shorter than others. Should I place 64 in front of my username?

Any help would be great.

As Sbiddle will testify, Trixbox is a dead project. We use it and haven't see any updates in a couple of years. Maybe look at PBX in a Flash.

In regards to your question the configuration will be the same in any FreePBX based system AFAIK

Ditch trixbox for a start. It's an obsolete bug ridden product that's now full of security holes.

As for iTalk settings I don't use it and don't know anybody who does.

Your username is your full number in international format.

For example, if my number was 09 950 1234, my username would be 6499501234

Thanks Nate!

So this would be my home number (64 9 4736192) rather than our account number?

Thanks

Hi sbiddle,

Is this regarding the free trixbox community edition, or trixbox pro, or both/all trixbox products?
