In this server I have 1 x 146GB as a single disk, and 2 x 72GB in a RAID0. I don't understand how the storage pool is 273GB. I can only create a 146GB Logical drive in that space (In line with my expecation).

Also in the new versions of windows, I often find the contrast for the "selected" item is poor, especially in aero basic, is it possible to change that one element using a colour picker or something to make it 2-3 shades darker?

Also the Alt X Menu is the first thing I really like about Windows 8 anything, I would love something equivalent in Windows 7, anyone know of a 3rd party equivalent?

to have a play with Storage Spaces, consider playing with the online Hands On Labs

?Implementing Storage Pools and Storage Spaces
In this lab, you will work with the new storage spaces technology in Windows Server "8". You will first create new storage pools and virtual disks, and then you will work with those virtual disks in both Server Manager and Control Panel.
