can anyone tell me, is it worth running both? i know from what i have found, even the paid kerpaskey never seems to find maleware that malwarebytes finds- ?

It is almost never a good idea to run two av at the same time. Performance hit is usually horrific. In some cases lockups and freezes etc. Pick one good one.

In my experience no one program adequate protection from both viruses and malware.

It is also true that permanently running both in the background with have a unacceptably large performance overhead.

So I leave kaspersky running in the background and just run Malware antibytes on demand.
