So, I stupidly paid for 12 months Skydrive service upfront. Microsoft pushed an update about a week later which broke Skydrive for the Mac. Despite me waiting more than a month (more like 2 months) for a resolution the fault has not been resolved amd it seems to have snagged a number of OSX Skydrive users

Today I thought, enough is enough, I want a refund. I completed the form suggested on the forum and Microsoft support has told me that they will cancel my account AND keep my money....

Unbelievable.

Jon

A recent update also broke the ability to edit Skydrive-based Excel documents on Windows Phone 7.5/7.8, (unsure about WP8), if you have used the Excel Web App to modify the document.

Thanks, my problem is not identifiable in the logs, and potentially includes a number of file.

Microsoft couldn't care less, oh well this goes nicely with the experience I have had with Winows 8 and Windows Phone.

So how did you pay for it? Credit Card? if so go talk to your bank and dispute the charge.

Charge was in December, so too late. I would be happy to get the rest of the year back but no dice.

They might actually fix skydrive before I could get a refund.
