I have a brand new Acer Aspire 5101AWLMi V2 Laptop with the following Specs:
80GB HDD, 1GB DDR2, Up to 256MB ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 Hyper memory, 2.0 Ghz.

I attempted to install Sims fullhouse and it only accepted 4 of them and then just stopped loading the Disc when I got to unleashed.

It seems to think it has no more memory, but i've only had it 2 days and I wondered if it's because it's running Vista, I have no idea where to being trouble shooting this problem.

I turned off the Norton Internet Security as it was giving me trouble in the beginning (wouldn't even run the first Disc) but even when i play the game with only up to HOT DATE installed, it won't save the game. There is no error message, it just won't save it.

Do you think this is VISTA? or the Laptop? or the Norton Security? OR ME ? lol

I should have tonnes of memory - but can't find where to see the allocation pie graph... (I stupid - thanks to Vista).. lol

There are some issues with Vista and The Sims due to some well documented shortcuts by EA. No fix is forthcoming.

People have had success by running the installer in Windows XP compatibility mode. Give that a try. Same for running the game.
