The past couple of weeks I've been getting windows updates coming up every few days. Sometimes I apply an update then 5 minutes later it's telling me it needs to be applied again. Windows 7-64, install is a few years old I guess.

Today I applied this update, then it wants to be applied again ten minutes later.

Any ideas what's up?

Is the update completing successfully? I assume so, given what you say but you can never be too sure. Check the log to make certain it's finished.

Yep worth checking, and yes it completes successfully then prompted me to apply it again.

I've had similar issues in the past (although this was in the XP days) and I think I ended up having to download the install package and run some diagnostic switches to figure out exactly what was going on.
