Any suggestions for a save it later to read app for the Windows eco-system.

What I want is a simple button in my desktop browser, usually Chrome, which saves links to articles to central account for later reading on different devices such as my Windows Phone and possible Windows tablet in future.

I don't want something which is tied to one machine or one device. I also don't mind paying. Stacks for Instapaper looks good as Instapaper works with everything, it costs for the Windows Phone app and it costs for the monthly subscription but it looks like it has good functionality.

I've looked up Read it Later but it looks like that is now Pocket and as far as I can see there isn't a Windows Phone or RT app.

Didn't anybody tell you I was a hacker?

Evernote looks like a good start.

Personally I'm not sure why there isn't a function like this in OneDrive.

Couldn't find a Pocket or Instapaper app for Windows Phone.
