Remember too that what your computer is serving is an upload not a download, and so will be at your upload speed. If you are on a 128kB/s upload DSL plan you may find the site will load very slowly for users, especially when you have more than one person browsing at a time. This will largely depend on the type of content you are serving however. (The more graphics/multimedia you have = slower the site will load to the broswing computer)

Just had a look at the IP address you mentioned earlier, and I can see you have it working, however it appears you need to add 'index.php' to your default documents list in the web server so that the index page loads automatically without the user having to specify 'index.php' in the URL.

Yeah also trying to install PHP.... I've done this about 3 years ago but it's changed a wee bit

Just tried that IP address, it's loading the directory - so as recommended you should change the configuration to load index.php...

However this is only for testing, right? Your upload speeds must be terribly slow because the page took a long time to load here.
