Especially like how their own video let slip that they had USB C prototyped.

Why not chuck one on for some future proofing.

Was at Google Next today, and there was mention that every Chromebook going forward will have USB C. Pretty hard to deny it's the new standard.

I'm looking at replacing my MacBook Pro with one of these, but I agree the lack of USB-C is shocking...

Also, they don't have a SD or Micro SD slot. The put a micro SD on the Surface Pro, so defies logic they omitted it from the laptop.

Came into contact with one of these the other day...

The textured surface is much less 'furry' to the touch than it appears. Its hard to describe, but more like a textured plastic or smoothed fiberglass type sensation.

Not bad at all, and I doubt it would have terrible wearing properties.

Cool! I've yet to see one in person. How was the screen?

I have was given one of these for my birthday yesterday by my wife, it's an i5 256GB SSD 8 GB Ram model and I Love it. Very light, great build quality, great display and very quick. I took advantage of the free upgrade to Windows 10Pro as I want to load software from outside the store. All in all an excellent laptop that meets my needs perfectly.
