Is anyone else testing Microsoft's new Live Mesh?

Love it so far, and its only in Tech Preview (not even beta stage)

I do wish for more features though, such as public folders, and then it will replace SkyDrive completly...

Who else here is testing this service? whats your thoughts?

If someone else here wants to test it, I do have 5 invitations to give away too...

It requires UAC to be on for installation. Do you have to keep UAC on for normal use?

On my Laptop, I have XP...and on my other old PC I have ME, but I am going to upgrade that to XP (specs cant handle Vista)

There is alota gripe about just that, UAC is currently required yes.

Its only in Tech Preview, so they are still asking for and adding features/fine tuning etc, and alota the chat can be found here, in the Microsoft forums (just found them the other day!)

Live Mesh could be summed up as an intergration of:
- SkyDrive (online storage, with public and private folders)
- FolderShare (file syncing between choosen devices, access to files/folders on remotely connected devices)
- Remote Desktop

But it at this point does not include all the functionality of those services, which is a letdown...

On another note, I have just tried FolderShare again, and quite surprised how much it has changed since I last tested it....
