But given their claims on the main page and the actual download source is within the MS domain with a DL token attached... One can only believe so. Not had issues in past. Hover over the source/F12 it for yourself.

Could just use the media tool to download the ISO and update with it that way, I have found that it is much more reliable to download the ISO then to run the installer from it than to use the upgrade function on the Media Tool. If you are still having problems, try resetting the Windows update components then try running it again. If it still doesn't work just format and go back to Windows XP.

Creation tool only provides the current reccomended - 1709, he wanted 1607 which you have to go elsewhere
