You can jump thru some hoops by converting the ESD file (search engine it)
Also, upgrading then doing a PC reset
Or wait for the time frame someone else mentioned for it to be released on Media Creation Tool

“If you’re performing a clean installation of Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, or Education, the Cortana voice-over will be disabled by default.“

Yay, that means that my workmates will no longer be disturbed with the annoying announcement every time I set up a new machine:

This is now available via Windows Update.

Just a warning on this update.

As previouslty posted I've download the MSDN ISO when first available and updated on my laptop with no problems at all.

I tried once on my desktop (1x PCIE SSD boot, 2x SATA HDD Storage Spaces, 1x SATA SSD) and it failed with a cryptic error message. Submitted a Feedback to Microsoft and no reply on that. Last night I decided to try again from the ISO and it failed, again. So I opened up the desktop, unplugged the 2x SATA HDD and 1x SATA SSD. The upgrade worked fine. After a subsequent Windows Update (to install this month's normal security updates), I plugged in the 2x SATA HDD and the SATA SSD. All working fine.

Warning: the failed upgrade because of USB storage devices seems to also affect SATA storage devices.

Microsoft has not replied to my Feedback yet. I can see this will cause a lot of frustration.

Well remember how long they took to not fix the install problem with windows when you had USB drives connected and even the one where you had to unplug and replug the install USB stick - twice - inorder to get the install to succeed. Its like they just want to guess the drive to stick things on instead of prompting the user.

If the SATA drives were seen as removeable devices that may have caused the issue. I've seen SATA not USB drives show as removeable before...

The update is now available from Microsoft's normal download page. /

I have updated 2x PCs this morning that have secondary SATA drives without issue - could it be related to having SATA hot plug enabled possibly?

One thing I have seen though is after upgrading one PC, I can't RDP to it anymore - will accept username and password but just get a blank screen and no further. Anyone else seen that?

The "informative" error message 0x80070002 - 0x20009 ("The installation failed in SAFE_OS phase with an error during PREPARE_ROLLBACK operation") that Windows gives you - meaning "unplug any USB storage devices (or SATA if Hot Plug enabled)":

After I unpluged my SATA HDDs and spare SATA SSD the installation worked ok.

Honestly, in an effort to dumb things down for the average user, they have made it harder to support for the IT Pro's.
