Hi

I have a windows 7 pro and trying to do a password reset using Hirens 15.2

It loads partway but it stops and says

kernel panic not syncing, attempting to kill init!

Any ideas or should I consult github

Thanks

Hi

Ok Hirens working now.

Changed the password with Hirens but didn't work

So I used the magic of shift key x5 and changed the password that way after first renaming the sethc file

then because I got a 1359 error I created a localadmin account with net user through the command prompt and was able to log in that way and then change the original user account

That was a job and a half.

Thanks for your suggestions
