I want to purchase windows xp home or pro with service pack 2 or 3 (Full version, not upgrade) so i can play a few games on my mac.Does anyone know where I can purchase these? Would prefer Home edition as it's cheaper and I don't need the extra software bundled with Pro.If possible, maybe an OEM version.
Thanks

If you go to PriceSpy there are some places that say they have it in stock (Home OEM version). You are unlikely to be able to get the retail version anymore.

That auction sounds dodgy. Upgrade and separate SP2 and SP3 discs?

I wouldn't never buy software on Trade Me. Not after this piracy ring was exposed.

That TradeMe listing is an upgrade version, I need the FULL version :( which costs quite a bit more.

Unless you buy off TradeMe, you'll need to buy an OEM version now.  Check out pricespy.co.nz - the cheapest XP Home is $110 inc.

There are two items at Geektrade - here and here. The seller for both the items is PC Gear, so you can trust them Smile

Windows XP Service Pack 2c seems to be the latest release

I've recently (few days ago) bought a copy of XP home. I was also looking for the non-OEM version, but couldn't find it anywhere I trusted.

Basically, unless you want to risk a dodgy deal, you've really got to go for the OEM version.
