Windows Home Server Power Pack 2 will be available shortly. It brings quite a few updates and the first Media Center-aware connector software:

I have been using it as part of the beta (codenamed Snoqualmie) and it's a solid build - very few bugs filled, and the RC is running on my Windows Home Server for some time now. Worth it!

This is now available from Windows Update. It should be automatically installed on your Windows Home Server overnight the next time it checks for updates, or you can just visit the Windows Update page.

Once this is installed you can manually update the connector software on each client, or it automatically updated upon a reboot.

I don't suppose connector software is compatible with Window's 7 yet?  I've read articles on how to hack this a bit to get it working on Windows 7 but would prefer a more elegant solution.

The connector software was compatible with Windows 7 since the first beta release late last year. Whoever says differently didn't have a go with the software at all.

Nice one!  Looks like I'll have something to do on my DOIL this Friday ;-)

I've been using WHS PP2 for about a week now and think the added MCE functionality is great!

No probs with Vista or Win7 build 7000 using this power pack.
