Is it possible to sync Windows Mail between two PCs? I have a Desktop and Notebook and want to use Windows Mail on both.

I could set it to leave messages on the server so messages are downloaded to both, but syncing the new/read/deleted/sent messages would be nicer.

Change the settings to connect to the email account(s) using IMAP instead of POP3. Depending on who is hosting your email account(s) they should be able to give you instructions for this.

Cheers, does seem like the easiest way to do it without using 3rd party apps. I'll sign up for Gmail and use that.
With IMAP does the connection always need to be online? Or can I make changes in Windows Mail and then it syncs next time I connect?

IMAP has a disconnected mode, where messages are downloaded for off-line use, any operations on the local store are cached and then replayed when connected to the server next time.

You should be able to configure IMAP disconnected mode in Windows Mail but I'm not sure on the specifics as I don't regularly use Windows Mail.
