Mac OS X for x86 is avaiable if you buy an Apple Intel Imac or Macbook.

And probably won't work that well on your computy as its designed for Apple approved hardware only. It would also take a bit of modding to get running on a non-apple computer as well.

Otherwise its piracy. This thread needs to be closed or deleted.

i think he's referring to Darwin core. or possibly this.

Unless he meant PearPC for Mac emulation on Windows?

Both Darwin and PearPC are freely avaiable.

In the case of PearPC, he'd would need to obtain or purchase the PPC version of Mac OS X to run it.

There are cracked versions of Mac OS X for x86 (Intel version) out there, remember that the Intel version of Mac OS X does have measures to try and prevent you from running it on non-apple computers.

Personally I'd advise against installing it on non-apple hardware as it probably doesn't have the drivers, and it wouldn't give the same experience as running it on approved hardware - which would lead to cries of "Macs suck, it crashes, it won't run my programs... mac sux0rs!!1111oneone"

Lets see if he can clarify what he meant.

If you are looking for a ported Mac OS to run on a x86 machine, then PearPC is the way to go. If you are looking for the original Apple Mac OS X, then this is available from Apple, when buying an Apple computer, as explained by Cokemaster.

Any other way of acquiring this software would be piracy. Since there are alternatives available as pointed by Chiefie, I am leaving the thread open and visible. Otherwise I will be required to lock and delete the discussion as per our ToS.
