Microsoft have made available beta 2 of WMP11 for Windows XP

It fixes many bugs and issues from Beta 1, much better performance and has a slightly tweaked UI.

I've installed this and I have to warn about the time it will take to migrate your library information... It may look like your PC is not responding. Go make a coffee and come back later. It will all be there.

I hate the dark glass skin.  And why did they feel compelled to change the icons for the shuffle and repeat buttons?  Quite bizarre if you ask me.  I'm sure the development team could spend their time working on other enhancements.

I do like the the new file type icons! Laughing
