Hi guys.
First timer here.
Might not the right place for this , but i could not find better. sorry.

I've got a basically no name , kinda old school DVR security camera recorder unit.
basic info ... 8 camera ,250gb hdd, ethernet , with linux . and vga ,s video and bnc out put.

i got a Lg 32 inch lcd tv , as newer as the dvr.

i've been using this dvr and working just fine with and 3 years old transonic lcd.
everything ok vga cable inserted picture up and running.
but the new lg says no signal, tried with vga to rgb cable ....same.
i got that much ( if i am right ,that the dvr signal is old, analog, and small resolution.

please offer me a converter as surely would solve this problem.

The VGA output resolution of the DVR probably isn't supported by the TV. Reading the manuals would confirm if this was the case as both should list the resolutions.

If this is the case the only option will be to use the composite output.

There should be a video output on the back of the DVR that does composite video. Since 99% of DVR's only use BNC connectors it's probably one of them and should be clearly labelled as such.
