Install seemed to go all right , computer restarted then it hung.

Waited for four hours (Ok I was off painting a flat I own) and it still had not fixed its self

Force reset, repaired disk and restarted.

All seems OK.

Some parts of the colour scheme I like, other parts....not so much.

i've got Yosemite on My mid 2012 macbook pro. 2.9Ghz, i7, have few problems with it.

1. wi-fi keeps dropping off Macbook (all other devices remain connected)
2. issues when air playing on apple tv. sometimes does not play sound, video staggers, and cannot connect sometimes.
3. websites take longer to load on safari than chrome

For th first week I was the same. Located in Auckland, this was quite odd. It seems to have disappeared now though.

It generally is correct with the weather, except it always says I am in tornado watch  in the notification and in the "now" part of the weather forecast. Not really a big deal, kinda quirky, be funnier I think if it said I was in a sharknado warning.

All in all though for a beta it is running well. I have it on a late 2013 MacbookPRO13" w/ 8gbRAM, 2.6Ghz i5 (My main work machine) & a mid 2012 MacbookPRO13" w/ 8gbRAM, 2.4Ghz i5 (Personal Machine)

The only issues I have run into is Netflix will no longer run in Chrome, but does in Safari with the new html5 engine, Some minor GUI flickering, Ableton9.1 stopped being able to boot this morning.

I am hoping they do something about the dock jumping screens all the time, or at least allow us to turn that off.

Working fine for me on my daily driver late 2013 Retina MBP 13"

Few minor bugs around the display, Safari and a few other bits, but nothing frustrating or show stopping. Agree with others that battery life seems a little worse, but not unexpected for a beta.

I wonder of they've bothered to sort out the buggy SMB and VPN clients that they've ignored since 10.4ever...

Beta 2 in and done!

Noticing a big improvement in battery life from the first one - perhaps slightly better than on Mavericks now.

Not come across any bugs, hitches or non-working applications so far.

All good!

Running B2 on a 2013 MacBook Air and a 2008 MacPro. Both running well other than a few minor cosmetic glitches. A couple of apps just won't run (Parallels, what a surprise...) as they need a 10.10 upgrade.

Quite like the UI changes.

Interesting the mention about flaky VPN, I can't connect to my work VPN on my MacBook (couldn't with 10.9 either) but the _exact_ same settings on the MacPro work fine, even under 10.10. Can't work it out.

I've found iPhoto crashes when trying to do slideshows, especially if I try to make the length match a song.

I haven't had any problems with Yosemite yet :) Though I only use it while I'm at uni writing notes during lectures, I don't tend to do much else with my laptop

Ive been running this for a while now and its great. Handoff works well being able to make and receive calls via computer is nice, and sending SMS via iMessage is great. Mail drop will probably be the best thing for a number of people, without even knowing its there. My wife is always sending attachments that are too large with email. Now we'll be able to send something up to 5GB! Works with any mail service, as long as you are using the Mail.app. Boot time is faster than Mavericks as well, about 10 seconds for me now.

Just upgraded this now on my 2012 rMBP. Quick and easy to download and upgrade - The main thing I wanted to see if they'd fixed was Safari as in Public Beta 2 it was horrendous and pretty much unusable, to the point where I'd have to revert to Chrome on occasion. Been using this one now for browsing and it's exponentially better, so for those still on PB2 and having the same issues, PB3 will likely be a lot better :)
