Has 10.10.3 caused headaches with Photos app? I read a review on the App store which says that the photo editor is not available in NZ and that user now can't even open their Photo app and hopes their photos haven't been lost?

Any other issues that people have been having with 10.10.3 or Yosemite in general?

I have just updated to Yosemite this afternoon. Photos seems to be working fine. I've opened my iPhoto library with it, can open a picture, and I get the same kind of editing tools I would get in Photos on my iPad. I tried a few and they responded without issue. I'm running it on an early 2008 Mac Pro (updated with SSD and 14GB of RAM).

I've only had one issue; I can do longer drag videos to the desktop. iPhoto still works.

What happens when you drag a video to desktop?

In iPhoto, it puts the video file there so that you can use it with a different app. In Photos, it does nothing (it still works for photos though).

I can still drag videos to the desktop on my Mac.
They then play in VLC as this is my default player for .m4v files.

I forgot to mention that it can take a while for the video to appear on the desktop as it has to be exported from the Photos app so it will depend on how big the video is.
There doesn't appear to be any progress bar or anything to show that something is actually happening.
I tried to close Photos before it had finished, as I thought it wasn't doing anything, and it prompted me to ask if I wanted to cancel the export or let it continue

You're right (now that I think about it); I did get the "exporting" message. However, I didn't wait for it. iPhoto could export the files in seconds, so there's no reason for Photos to take all day.
